Overview

The 400ZR, an Optical Interworking Forum (OIF) standard, facilitates the transport of 400GbE over extended distances through fiber optic cables using a single wavelength.

Primarily designed for interconnecting data centers within a 120 km range, the 400ZR optics (EN-QDD-DCO-ZR) meet the high bandwidth, speed, and low latency requirements of modern data center networks.

The 400G ZR+/ZR+HP OpenZR+ (EN-QDD-DCO-ZR+, EN-QDD-DCO-ZR+P) extends the 400ZR specifications, enhancing performance while adhering to the OpenZR+ MSA standard.

  • Operation in both amplified and unamplified modes for flexible deployment.

  • Support for 400 Gbps speed, allowing the port to function as a single 400GbE interface or be channelized to operate as four 100GbE interfaces.
